Tree and hedge planting
Tree Planting
There are many factors to take into account when choosing the right type of tree to plant in your garden. Certain species can be better suited to certain situations and we're happy to offer professional advice about the type of tree that's best suited to your (and the tree's) individual needs. Every situation is unique and can depend on a variety of factors such as the condition of the soil, the tree's light requirements, whether it will grow too tall and block natural light from your home etc.
If you're not sure what tree is right for your garden, let us know and we'll be happy to advise. Our tree planting service is comprehensive and inclusive, also taking into account staking, tying, mulching and fertilising requirements at the time of planting. We can also offer advice about formative pruning for your young trees and offer a contract watering service for newly planted residential and commercial trees.
Hedge Planting
Hedge planting is very similar to tree planting, but with a few subtle differences. As hedges don't grow as tall as trees, the species, soil and light requirements are critical factors. Some hedges will grow better in a shady area (if you have high fences), whilst some prefer large amounts of direct sunlight. Furthermore, some hedges are better suited to soil that drains well, whilst other species are suited to dense, nutrient-rich soil.
We're happy to offer professional advice on the type of hedge species that will grow well in your garden as well as providing a comprehensive hedge planting service including staking, tying, mulching and fertilising. Please ask about routine maintenance plans to keep your hedges green and lush. As with out tree planting service, we also offer a contract watering service for newly planted residential and commercial hedgerows.
